I love Belgian beers and I think most of us know what the cork looks like on a corked and caged Belgian bottle.

I corked and caged 46 bottles a week and a half ago, but it doesn't look like any of the corks are getting pushed out and mushroomed into the cages of any of the bottles. Is this something that takes months? I think I'm just being to hasty but thought I'd ask... a lot of time, effort and money went into this beer so I'm nervous that I did something wrong!

5oz. Priming Sugar per 5 Gallons like I would for other beers.

I just worry too much! I need to just forget about them and go check them in a month or two!

I never get nice beautiful mushrooms. I've carbed some beers up over 4 volumes and they still aren't mushroomed. I think that is a side effect of many corking machines that the larger breweries use. It actually mushrooms the cork and ties the cage on.
