I have some leftover ingredients I want to use up on a quick brew day. I'm intrigued by a 15 minute boil and came up with a sort of Perle Pale Ale. My only concern is whether the large amount of late additions to get the IBUs where I want them is going to be overpowering. I'm looking for a fruitier flavor/aroma from the Perle, but not overpowering. Thoughts?

Batch size: 3.0 gallons
Boil size: 2.1 gallons
OG: 1.053
Est FG: 1.010
Est ABV: 5.58%
IBU: 43

3.3 lb LME
1 lb DME
1.5 oz Perle (7.5%) at 15 min
1 oz Perle (7.5%) at 5 min
1 oz Perle (7.5%) at flameout

I just finished a 15 min Citra pale ale. It came out great. Don't be scared to add all those hops. It takes that much because the boil is so short. This process is called hopbursting. You also want to cool your wort quickly. I would also dry hop with an ounce.
