Looking for feedback on a 1 gal batch that is in the pot right now. Grew some hops this year, but not nearly enough for a 5 gal batch. Yield ~ 1 oz cascade. Wanted to make beer using all 'our hops', so making a 1 gal batch.
Did it on the kitchen stove using a half pound victory steeped, 1lb light DME and and 1/2 oz cascade at start. 1 hr boil with half oz cascade 5 mins before end. Couple grams dry American ale yeast to be pitched.
Not sure what gravities should be at, and no idea if I should expect this to turn out drinkable. It's late and I was bored (and half in the bag), so decided to brew it up on a whim.
All feedback appreciated
