I just received my infrared thermometer gun from the good people at inkbird. This thing is pretty slick. Easy setup, easy to understand instructions. I'm tethered to my desk currently but have taken the temp of everything in my office. This will definitely be useful in my brew room. I'm also planning on finding all the cold areas in my house with it so I can insulate better. Overall a very cool and useful device. Thanks inkbird for the prize!!

Yeah I couldn't wait for the contest to be over so I ordered one and got it about a week ago and as you said it is pretty slick.
I can't keep it out of my hands and see right now that I'll have to stock up on 9v batteries!!
