Well, be bored no longer! I present my new channel, Fast Homebrew

So yeah, long time reader, first time ... spammer?

My aim here is to create a series of informative, entertaining, fast-paced videos on home brewing. I've already done a few. The first was:

Let me know what you think and whether you have any requests or ideas :mug:

Was the malt already hopped?

Was this a kit or did you decide on what ingredients to use? You didn't give a lot of information other than the type of malt you used.

Since I have a proclivity for motion sickness, the camera movement made that all I could really focus on. :(

Great to think out of the box. We need some exciting brew videos.

"BOOM!"

The shaky cam/fisheye thing was a little jarring for me as well, but I like the idea you're going for. I'd recommend adding a little more detail as you go. Obviously it's tough to strike that perfect balance between entertaining and informative, but if your target audience is brand new brewers, you'll want to mention some things like using hopped vs. unhopped extract, why you're taking gravity readings, etc.

Any chance of adding a skull jacket and some heavy metal music during mash in? ;) :rockin:

I've got my iPod playing Strapping Young Lad in one of them - will that do? It's this one I think:

I'm sort of doing two kinds of videos at the moment - "Brew Day" ones where I just kind of say what I'm doing and "How To" ones where I go into a little more detail. Here's an example of a "How To" where I talk about the basics of hops:

The shaky video ... as I've done more videos I've been trying to keep my head more still, but it's difficult!

I must be out of ideas ... I've already resorted to puppet shows :(
