Unearthed a whole jar of these unused bottle caps. Anyone ever use anything like this for bottling? Anything that I should consider if I were to attempt to use them? There's cork lining the whole inside. Best guesses indicate these are from at least the 1960s if not earlier.

It's a single pole with 4 plants trained to the top at a single point kinda like a teepee. Perhaps I could make the top into a more T- shape and allow the line to zig and zag its way up.

They are fairly papery and feel light. And obviously they are starting to spread a bit, but I can't smell or see any lupulin (though I have no idea what it looks like. Just wondering what people can make of these images and whether or not they are ready to harvest. Cheers, Matt

Living in Michigan I've not had the chance to sample some Pliny the Elder, but I'm thinking of brewing up a clone nonetheless. Noticed that Farmhouse brew supply has Pliny Pack which it says is all the hops needed to clone. Anybody buy this? What are your thoughts on it?

I made a yeast starter last night. Checked it this morning and it must have been a lively group because my foil had blown right off the top and mu jar was completely exposed on top. Should I assume this starter is now unusable? Anyone had this happen and use the yeast anyway? Thanks, Matt
