I love these threads, and couldn't find one on HBT. Here's hoping this one will gain momentum.
So, after 6 months straight of eating the same cold-cut sandwich about 3 days a week at work, I finally got sick of them and doubt i'll be making one any time soon.
FWIW, it was a bangin' sandwich:
Sub roll.
mayo, salt pepper
ham, turkey, salami
pepper jack
onion
lettuce
bacon (oscar meyer precooked)
jalapenos (sliced, from a jar)
alfalfa or broccoli sprouts
splash of italian dressing
well, got to the point where i could barely choke it down i was so tired of them. today i had campbell's chunky soup (sirloin burger) but can't do that every day, or I'll quickly tire of it.
I also tried something suprisingly simple while at the beach on the 4th of july. would have never thought of it. Mother-in-law had some good lunchmeat cut from the deli (turkey, roast beef, and ham) thick sliced. She then rolled pepper jack cheese, or some good cheddar in the lunchmeat to creat these little rolls. and then had spicy brown mustard to go with them. i probably ate 6 of 'em, LOL.
so there's a couple of my ideas, but i LOVE trying new things, and would like to hear y'alls suggestions. ideally, these would be things that i could make the morning of work, and wouldn't take more than 5min.
