It's about plants used in or to make booze. Now I'm rethinking my landscaping.

Have you read the Malazan Book of the Fallen series by Steven Erikson? I've got all of the books but am a little inimidated to start a 10 book series when every book is a thousand pages.
This is the latest in the series.
No, haven't read that one.

Yes, best epic fantasy I've ever read. Read the first two of the series and if your not completely hooked by the end of Chain of Dogs then you can let it go.
Just finished 1Q84 and still looking for something new to start. I've read a few by Murakami now and 1Q84 was my favorite. Long, but kept me engrossed the whole time.
I am most of the way through the first book of the Dies the Fire series. I like distopian fiction. Like the way the author started the 'change' and all that. Kinda irked about how lucky/untouchable the main characters are, but then again you cant have a main character if they get killed off or paralyzed in their first few skirmishes. I will keep reading though some main characters need some really bad luck soon to balance things out.
On a side note, I think the autor must be a wiccan.
