Not what I was expecting. A little bitter, not much malt, no spices. Not bad, just okay, but not what comes to mind when I see "Christmas Ale".

Update on the stone beer lager, now carbonated. It's quite good, like a combo of a rauchbier, a baltic porter, and an oatmeal stout. Full bodied, clean, smoky, light charcoal, coffee, chocolate. It's really good.
