Picked up a few 22s for the basement. Some for sooner and some to age.
Drank a growler of Community Beer Works- The IPA, some of D.C.'s texas twang, and some troeg's mad elf. Buddy likes the mead and gave me a few of his wines. I'll give him some more hb and some mead to go.

Staying with my aunt and uncle is always fun. He is the CFO for an investor who owns wineries, distilleries and distributors. He already gave me a box of liquor, now he let me open and try this. Fantastic!

Wow, this is amazing. It tastes like a whiskey soaked bittersweet chocolate bar. It's not boozy though. This definitely kicks Ten Fidy out of my top spot.

Judging from the label on the cap and the flavor, I think this is @mattmmille 's Brett Saison. It's a very nice brew and it's going down very easy. Thanks for sharing, Matt!

Saved a 12 pack of cold dampfbier for tomorrow. Had a tall, cold glass of orange juice with a bowl of chili & crackers this evening.

Haha i dont mind visiting here at all. Most of wichita is a dump but not this part/neighborhood, plus this side of the family is a riot when we get together.

Hmmm...never done a Brett (though someday...). Not Hi-Nelson, obviously. Other Saison I've done is Citra...big Citra flavor? Would have "CS" on cap. If not, let me know what the letters are and I can figure it out. But whatever it is, if I'm responsible and you're enjoying it...that's what it's all about. (Despite the Hokey Pokey's bogus claim!)
