Digging for an IPA I found what I think is nukebrewer's Gandhi bot clone. Still real delicious and smells good. Forget why I didn't drink it but it was some of two I had. Think I was to compare it to version 2 if I got it.

It hit the spot for me tonight. Drank it at about 72 degrees. I always grab a stout if getting beer on my way home from work... Good warm = no waiting.

Now on this:

It's the best four buck bomber I have ever had. Likely the best new Belgium as well.

It might just be that every imperial I have had lately tasted like koolaid and this was the first in a while that didn't. My expectations were low so appriciation was high. I will report back when I am not dying for a beer.

I am not gonna call norwhal my new fav beer. But I enjoyed it a hell of a lot more than some whales like dark lord or imp porter Black Tuesday. I just can't get behind the sweet end of things. For a good black beer I am gonna stick with breakfast stout.
