I really want to make a Warsteiner clone, but have no means for lagering. I'm just wondering what I can expect in terms of flavor if I use US-05 @ <65°F. I've heard it's the most "crisp" ale yeast, especially at low temps. Will I still get a decent beer, and how will it differ from a lagered pilsner? Thanks

It will have more yeast character (slight fruitiness, not as crisp) compared to the original beer. I recently had a lager yeast fail for my on a Czech Pils and had to pitch US-05. I started fermentation at 55 F ambient, fermenting warmer will make that character more obvious (at that temp US-05 can gets a bit peachy).

Not saying it won't make a great beer, it just won't taste like Warsteiner.

That yeast is quite neutral, especially below 70 deg, even more below 65 deg. That should work fine.
