Using an 18.9l water cannister?

Hi,

I have a couple empty water cannisters that hold 18.9 litres, the neck opening is just under 2" in diameter. Can I get a bung that would fit that or a grommet that would fit?

More importantly, you should be asking yourself what the cannisters are made of. Only some plastics should be used to ferment in.

ahh, thanks for that tip, im just new to this. the containers dont say what they are made from its a very hard plastic...

There should be a recycling symbol on them somewhere (usually on the bottom) with a number or letter code in the center. Try finding that and post what it is.
