Hi all,

Does anybody have a suggestion as to where I might be able to purchase used/recycled beer corks? There are plenty of used wine and champagne corks for sale online, but I'm afraid that I may have cleared out the entire internet with 3 total purchases between Etsy and eBay (and ended up with less than 100 corks). Unfortunately, my beer selection at home won't round out what I need (about 75 more corks before the end of May).

Any ideas other than asking local bars to save corks for me, which might take quite a long time to get what I'm looking for?

Thanks!
Matt

I have not seen used corks for sale.
Is there a reason why you are not buying new ones? I think you can get about 30-40 for under $8 - $10 at any homebrew store.
good luck.

I'm actually getting married in June an am looking to use the corks for that - I'm looking for the shape of a used belgian beer cork with the skinny neck and fatter top (I may just grab some used champagne corks, but I'm much more into beer). For actually corking any of my own beers, I'd start with fresh cork.

I considered corking a few empty bottles that I have lying around, but I don't think the corks will take shape in time.
