I have a standard kegerator that snugly fits two stainless 1/6 kegs. Last week I went and bought two kegs at a local brewery and they gave me the new Petainer kegs which I think is a great idea, however ... they do not fit. They are about .5-.75" too big (total). Does anyone have any suggestions on this? Will removing (or trimming down) the plastic top work, along with removing the plastic bottom? Has anyone McGuyvered two of these into a kegerator?

I once got a free mini fridge and my plan was to us it as a fermentation chamber but the fermenter didn’t fit because of the hump on the floor.
I built a collar out is 2x4s which pushed the door out making enough room. Like a sideways keezer. It’s a cheap solution that doesn’t require hacking up the door
