I came across a ball lock keg with an odd racetrack lid. Turns out, the relief valve didn't work and none of my other ball valve relief valves fit, so I ordered a replacement lid from KegOutlet.com (http://www.kegoutlet.com/keg-lid-rec...ack-style.html). Turns out, that lid didn't make a good seal at all, so now I'm back to square one. I took some pictures of the good lid (without the relieve valve) and the incorrect replacement lid (http://imgur.com/a/yQYhu). Does anyone know where I could find a correct replacement valve or lid so I can actually USE this keg?

I could be wrong because I use ball lock with the same style lid as the one on the left in the last picture. But the one on the right looks like one I have seen on a pin lock keg. I know that on the prv's for the ball locks you can get replacement parts for the valve. Will it unscrew from the new and screw on to the old?

What is engraved on the side of the keg? I'm just wondering if the keg has been converted from a pin lock to a ball lock. Those are ball lock connections.

No, the prv will not unscrew from the original lid. The original lid has a prv (female side) that measures 1/2" while the other lid (and all my other ball lock lids) measure 9/16". So regular prv's will not fit

I just saw an ad for ball lock kegs with lids like yours. They were used but it was ball locks, so they are out there. Did you try ebay?
