In case it helps anyone - I've been using this carbonator lid for about three years (available in the US from MoreBeer or others, but I think Kegland makes them):

Approximately a year ago, the float valve stopped working - the keg just filled to the top with water. I took apart the valve, cleaned it and lubed the seals and it worked until two weeks ago. This time cleaning it did not fix it, so I went in search of a replacement. I couldn't find the exact same part but this one seemed close:

I ordered the 1/2", top entry version and it worked perfectly. It took two tries to get the bottom hex nut at the right height (it needs to be set right so that you get both seals - the water on the top and the gas seal on the bottom - simultaneously). The box is labeled as "HUTO HT-FQF1/2-2" or maybe "HUITO" - the logo is not 100% clear.
