You're a terrible person... I was trapped in a stairwell for over 20 minutes in a crush of people trying to get out of a burning high-rise.

Nice.

I bust your chops about a train wreck of a pizza oven build.... and you wish I died in the skyscraper fire I was caught up in yesterday.

Real nice Paul.

I bet that was really scary for you...

I'm sure you were a real trooper.

I will neither confirm nor deny that some folks MAY have been "escorted" out of my way while I calmly made it to the ground floor.

Dude... survival of the fcukin fittest man. I wasn't gonna get all toasted up!

How does Alice tolerate your cold, dead soul?

Oh yeah! I saw this story, but I heard that once everyone got out of the building, they evacuated to the furthest place from any fire ever......

Trial by fire... Decided I didn't want to wait. I'm like a kid at Christmas. So a VERY small kindling fire. ImageUploadedByHome Brew1411595484.635935.jpg
There will be another outer arch closer to the camera that will funnel the smoke up. Before I baffled the opening the smoke was coming out the door and up the flue equally. The ply made it all go up the flue, so when I build that arch it will work great. But that's a part of the outside walls and not sure about how I'm finishing that yet so I left it undone.

Then I sealed up the opening with stacked bricks to help hold the heat in overnight.

Still smoldering but that's it. I only had a handful of plaster lathe in there to burn.

Looks good. Good to see that it works.

I am pretty sure that some of your detracters are checking to make sure hell has not frozen over......

You're an idiot.

Your azz. If I hadn't freakin busted your stones hourly about it the fcuking thing woulda been done in 2026.

You should be freakin' thanking me.

As a matter of fact... You're welcome.

Still say collapse is imminent.

I'm sure... I let Paul know a couple days ahead of time and then again that morning I was doubtful at best. I was solo in the tap room, got there about 9:00am and closed up about 6:30. At that point there was, unfortunately no way I was going to head to Stoughton as I was freakin' beat and stunk like beer.

Plus I figured if I got there that late, all the pork jerky would be gone anyway.

I gotta say, that given that it was made by a nurse, it could be worse.

Of course, I'm pretty sure that this same nurse used to have his own construction company. Relative to THAT scale... well, I guess I know why he doesn't have his own construction company anymore.

Also; I wouldn't stand near the shed in a windstorm. Or when the ground freezes. Or really... anytime. Gonna really suck when that thing collapses and takes out the nice neighbor-lady's Toyota.
