Can anyone (or even, many of you) suggest a lager that would be good for Thanksgiving?

I'd like to get started on it in the next month or so.

Thanks!

It might be belated but I'd brew some Oktoberfest/Maerzan...

Is there really another choice???

Okto/Marzen. Your timing will be pretty good if you start within a month. You won't get the "required" 6 months of lagering, but you'll be just fine with 3 months. (or 1.5 in my world.....I can never wait).

If I'd go with another, I'd try the Peanut Butter Porter people are talking about around here. (oops, that's not a lager). Hell, I'd make a PB porter with a lager yeast and report back to us.....

Thank you guys for the suggestions! Believe it or not, we actually did brew some Octoberfest already, months ago, and it's sitting happily in my extra fridge at 40F, ready to be consumed in about 2 months.

I'll check out the pumpkin ale recipe, that sounds fun. Hey wait, that's not a lager.
