I brewed my house beer today and all started good hit my temps perfect right amount of sparge volume etc. boiled cooled in about 20 minutes to 75 deg. Whirlpooled etc. But when I went to dump into the fermenter it didnt get any flow what so ever thru the ball valve. WTF after trying a bunch of stuff to get the flow had just throw out all unneeded tubing so i couldnt siphon SWMBO has the car. i ended up spraying my arm with star san and diving to the pickup tube i found 2 big yellowjackets plugging it up  its december what the hell are stinging insects doing out ambient temp 45 degrees. So between a couple bees deciding to go swimming in my wort and my arm im betting something detrimental to the end product set up shop.

i will send someone a six pack of the next batch of house beer if im wrong!!!!:rockin:
