Does star san leave causes bad tastes???

I racked three 1 gallon jugs and after each jug I rinsed and sanitized the auto siphon and hose. Each sample that I tasted from each jar was less than enjoyable and I was wondering if the star San had something to do with it?

Thanks

I use tap water too. Star San leaves a film and bubbles, and it tastes a little acidic. Most people just drain their bottles after sanitizing them, but I like to rinse mine with boiled water. Boil some water on the stove and let it cool and use that to rinse the Star San off. Been doing that for years with no issues.

I left a quarter gallon of rinse star San rinse water. No one complained about the taste

^ I've done the 1/4 gallon in a batch (it was beer) and I had no issues at all. It actually got me right to the 5 gallon mark...
