Ss immersion chiller as a beer chiller (like jockey box)

I recently got a 25 foot ss 3/8" immersion chiller, with hose barbs on the end. Can I use it like a cheap jockey box. Place it in a bucket with ice and run the beer through it. I don't see why it won't work. Make it serve 2 purposes.

I'll build it and post picks, going to a tailgate this weekend so I'll build it fast.

Anyone see why this would not work

Pours might be a bit foamy due to the ID transitions but otherwise I can't come up with a reason why it couldn't work.

Probably want to give it a good cleaning inside first.
It'll be the first time actual beer has been run through it...

Thanks I will definitely give it a good dush. I may toss the connections and crimp a hose directly onto the coil to reduce turblance, maybe keep my tap 2 feet higher. I'll have to play around I guess.
