Knocked off a Scottish 70 based on Jamils recipe on Saturday. First time grinding my own grains with a converted clay roller, Worked well and manage about 70% effeciency.
I'm doing a couple of 1 gallon batches of an amber to test out some wild hops.
She looks like she is stirring a porter. I can tell by the excitement on her face.
15 gallons happily fermenting.
5 gallons of single abbey ale
5 gallons of tripel
5 gallons of burnt mead
Do you mash 1g batches, or do you mash 5g and split it? Do you then boil a few 1g batches and follow different hop schedules?
You brewed all this today? Looong day! :rockin:
