I like this label too but the 1 pint, 8 oz. has me confused.
One pint is 16 oz. so is it a 24 oz. bottle?

Yeah I messed up, it has since been changed and I mentioned it in my last post. In Ireland (and all of Europe) we deal in imperial pints (568 ml) as oppose to a US pint which is about 470 ml. 568 ml translates to just over 19 oz. Not sure where I got 8 oz from. I should have just stuck to pint measurement really ha.

Photoshop CS2 is available for free through a quick Google search. No hacking required. Adobe has simply turned off the registration validation site as the program is several cycles out of date now.
A few minute download and the serial # listed with the download had me back into a very familiar version of Ps.
It's a few years old, but is fully functional and compatible with the current Ps releases.

Hey everyone,

I've been homebrewing for a couple months now and decided it was time I explore the label world. I play with yoyos and kendamas and various novelty type toys so I wanted to do labels in this direction. While doing a bit of internet scouring, I came across numerous images of novelty toys in retro packaging. Inspired by this theme, I came up with this logo:

While I don't play with tin robots, I thought this would be an awesome direction for a red. So I designed this label to be "Red Robot" or "Big Red Robot" depending on ABV. I haven't added any stats since I haven't actually made this, but it's something easy to add.

Your image links don't seem to be working (at least for me.) It could be a URL length limitation. I replaced "[]" with "<>" in the image tags of the quote so you could see what I mean by URL length. I copied and pasted both URL's into the address bar, and both resulted in 404's.

Brew on :mug:

Alright, definitely messed up the URL stuff there. Didn't realize you could just do an upload though, so I went with that instead. Hope that fixes the problem.

My draft labels. Currently in Afghanistan, hope to wrap these around the real thing in a few months.

Simple but elegant labels, no BS web page, beautiful mission statement, excellent cause (donations)!! If the beer follows suit with what you have to this point, it should be something special to behold. Have a safe trip back, good luck in your brewing endeavors, and THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!

You're way of identifying hop content is super creative! Definitely a fan of that.

I break it down into hop flavor and hop bitterness.. the hop scale just represents the hop flavor you will taste in the beer.

The bitterness (Shown in IBUs in the stats section) just represents the bitterness you'll perceive. Both kind of work together to give you an idea of what to expect.
