An English Mild Ale that has been in the primary for 9 days. I'm curious if it's worth the extra time in the primary since time in a keg is good, too (I never use secondary vessels).

Started at 1.040 and has been at 1.011 for a couple days. Started with about 8 pounds of pale ale malt and 8 ounces of black patent.

It's been a while since I've worked with S-04 - not sure if it benefits from more time to drop. I usually use S-05 and keg after 14 days.

I'm guessing that is going to be one very roasted/burnt tasting mild - 0.5lb of black patent is a heck of a lot to use, especially for a mild with 8lb of 2row.
