Shipping beer from Canada to USA

So I need to send a 6 pack to NHC in Washington at the end of June and I was thinking about using Canada Post. Has anybody ever used their service before? The shipping calculator gave me an estimate of 4 days and didn't mention anything about it being illegal. I just don't want to have problems at the border and miss the competition.

FYI - Once it hits Stateside it'll be in the hands of the USPS. Shipping alcohol via USPS is illegal in the states, so that could present an issue if you get caught. I'd use a private carrier (like UPS / Fedex).
