Is screening your Wort as you dump into fermentation a good idea? I normally do this. But I was wondering if screening out the FO and Whirlpool hops would lessen the flavor and aroma of the beer. Thoughts?
I usually dump mine through a fine mesh stainless steel strainer when transferring to my fermenter. It helps aerate a bit and give me less trub in the fermenter which is great if I am going to reuse the yest.
