I have a new house and a Whirlpool EH150F 14.8 cu ft chest freezer conveyed. It is "solid core" and has a tiny hump (10x10 in one corner) which lends itself to a kegorator. I would like to use that as such and promote the old 7.1 to Ferm duty.
I have surface rust on the floor and the lid of the Whirlpool. The lid is a no brainer as I will most likely be painting the entire exterior. The question is the inside.
Is it just a matter of sanding and some rust inhibiting paint or do I need to use something else because of the potential temp it might see?
Thanks,
