Those photos are kind of bad. It looks brown on the copper, more like it got scuffed or something. StarSan will be the first place this is going once I shape it into a chiller.

A little brown tarnish won't hurt you at all. But clean it after you use it. That black stuff that builds up after using it makes a muddy flavor in your beer.
