I was wondering who here has tried reusing different types of bottles for beer and what sort of results you've had. I'm considering using a rum bottle and possibly some screw-top wine bottles. Are these okay or would you advise against them?

If a bottle isn't made to hold pressure ie. rum bottle. Do not put beer in there to carb or else. BA BOOM.

Champagne bottles are fine.

Great, thanks for the tip.
