Pumpkin porter vanilla extract ??

Okay. Brewing a pumpkin ale and porter this weekend. The Ale came with a oz of vanilla extract powder for bottling. The Porter on the other hand did not because it is a clone that I am adding Pumpkin and a spice pack to. I was unaware of the VEP in the ale but figured I would do the same as it is supposed to add a nutty note or something similar. I Do have liquid vanilla extract but is the ratio the same then? 1oz is 8tsp so can I just add 8tsp of the liquid version when I bottle? Thanks.

Not knowing anything about the powder, I think its tough to tell. But maybe add some to the fermenter, and at bottling, if not enough, add more then. You can always add, you can't take it away.
