Didn't check my bag from Homebrew shop, forgot I ordered an extra pack of dry yeast, put hops in freezer WITH pack of dry yeast.

Did I damage or kill the dry yeast by putting the pack in the freezer.

I'm thinking no or minimal damage since it was a pack of dry. If it would have been a liquid culture I'm thinking yes substantial damage or killed.

Have I guessed correctly?

Yeast is safale us-05

Well with dry bread yeast it keeps longer in the freezer. I have kept it for years and it always makes my bread. So I imagine dry beer yeast (as opposed to we where ice crystals may burst the cellular wall) would be fine in the freezer too.

yeah, that's what I thought. wouldn't want to freeze a liquid culture but dry is pretty tough stuff.
