Racked off caribou slobber to keg last night and have this nice yeast cake of wyeast 1332 northwest ale. Can I still wash and store this later today or Sunday?
Airlock is over this and funny thing is that it is bubbling. Must have woke up the yeast.

If its covered after you bottle or rack, you probably wouldn't need to wash it....just take a cup or so of slurry and pitch in your next batch....

give it a go and see....my gut says it should be ok....(if it were longer than a day or two, i would say wash it)

but if its an issue in the future, bottle and brew in the same day---sure it makes for a long Saturday, but using the yeast from your primary in your next batch works the best this way as you don't need to wait for a starter, etc....

(of course YMMV)
