Sounds tasty. I've been wanting to do an all brett c beer for a while now. Care to share your recipe?

Sure!

69% Belgian Pils
23% Munich
6% Flaked Oats
3% Acidulated

I think I just did a 60 minute addition of Saaz for around 20 IBUs.

Pitched a 1L starter of White Labs Brett C.

Not sure if I posted my sweet stout yet.
Northern Brewer Sweet Stout Extract - 1st brew on my gas burner. Was nicer to brew outside and faster... Just got make a rig now to start partial mash and then all grain.

My "flush draw" irish stout. it's still pretty young, but delicious. the picture of the head on it is possibly my favorite brewing picture ever. (and i'm not even being biased that i took it)

Thank you, I think the beer recipe is pretty solid, but next time I might pick a different yeast to ferment with. The Brett C. doing 100% of the fermentation is not quite as interesting as I hoped it would be. Just my opinion though!

I did a 100% Pilsner/Motueka SMaSH recipe the other day and split the batch between two yeasts: half with WLP Bastogne & half with WLP 670 American Farmhouse. Those two smell AMAZING right now!

*edit* oh, and for what it's worth, on the Brett C. - I stepped my starter up until it was 1L

My first brew after two weeks in the bottle. Black IPA :D

Like the mug alot. Hopefully they are able to stay in playoff contention how the black ipa turn out? Was it a kit?

Thanks! I hope they make it in the post season too. The hot and cold spells are taking years off my life!

The black IPA was a kit and it's still conditioning but it's getting better by the week. At week 1 it was pretty bad. Off flavors, no hops coming through at all. Now, after 2 weeks, the hops are starting to come through and tastes much much better.

Yea same here. It's like one game they look great and the next it's like who the hell is on the ice. Who'd you get the kit from?

I got it from Jay's Brewing. I think it was a BrewCraft kit. They were located in Old Town Clifton but just moved to Manassas to a much bigger store.
