Hey folks,
I'm Jay and I just started brewing at the end of last year. I'm in Altadena (or Pasadena, depending on who you ask). A friend gave me his homebrew gear about 10 years ago and I finally got around to making my first batch on Thanksgiving (an IPA).
I should be bottling batches 3,4 and 5 next weekend--a cider, a bitter and a belgian IPA, filling up those empty carboys with more cider, a Saison and an Alt.
My goal this year is to get started entering some competitions and go from mini-mash to all grain. This forum has already been a great source for ideas. Thanks guys!
