Technically it's not the Windscale piles which were the first nuclear reactors on what is now the Sellafield site, built after WWII to produce material for atom bombs. But it is the opening by the Queen on 17 October 1956 of Calder Hall, an extension to the site hosting the world's first nuclear reactor producing electricity into the grid, so I'll give it to you.

Llangollen Canal, Llangollen, Wales. We were there in 1989, but I couldn't find my picture (taken from the valley below) to get the proper name of the aqueduct from it.
 
Not San Pelligrino. Are these cities you've tried known for having an aqueduct that is now a walkway? Aqueduct was the theme I riffed on.
 
That is Sydney Australia, picture taken just before that pelican choked on a clown fish...
