Hello, my name is Thorpe (yes my first name) and I’m an addict. Started a few years ago making silly mistakes trying to make mead with bread yeast. That failed drastically. Into trying to make apple wines and ciders over the next 2 years until finally finding my place this past summer brewing beer. Having much more fun now and getting to drink my creations without a year delay is fantastic. My first brew was an IPA with the LHBS (pic attached.) From there I got a basic setup with an 8 gal kettle using the BIAB method. Made a fat tire clone before creating my first recipe with a coffee stout. 2 weeks into bottle conditioning and it’s heavenly. Can’t wait to brew more and continue to learn from my mistakes.
