Has anyone done this? I'm assuming I just need to replace the existing hose connections with a male QD like this one:

The put the existing hose adapters onto these:

I was thinking this would simplify making sure that there are no leaks when connecting hoses to a hydra that's been sitting in boiling wort (and getting really hot) for 10+ minutes. Anyone see anything wrong with this plan? Thanks!

If you have the money go for it!
I am happy with my immersion chiller having MFL connections which are easy enough for me to connect securely while the copper parts are too hot to touch.

That being said, I hate after the fact when Im disassembling my chiller trying to not drop the plastic washer into obscurity.

PROS: quick, easy, no loose parts
CONS: $$... thats about it!
