Melted HSI Wires

After a few brew session on my new system, I've noticed that the wires on my HSIs near each burner have melted, exposing the wire. The HSI's are mounted on the BG-14 so it receives pretty high heat thoughout the brew day. Any thoughts on how I can insulate the wires to prevent melting and an exposed wire? Not sure what would stand up to the heat.

My only suggestion would be to mount the HSI in a cooler location or build a heat shield to protect the wiring.

Post a pic of how you have the HSI mounted if you can...

Ill try to get a pic posted. Any thoughts on Thermo-tech heat shielding for automotive applications? Something like this-

Wonder if anyone has used this in close proximity (couple inches) to a bg-14 with success.
