I just picked up some used Perlicks from supercarbuilder and installed them. They replaced some Krome faucets.

When I went to install the 5" long tap handles on my refrigerator/kegerator (drilled through door of fridge), I realized that the rearward angle of the handle in the off position doesn't allow for these long handles.

Am I doing something wrong? The Kromes were basically vertical when off, but the Perlicks lean back toward the door so I can't turn them all the way off.

Yes this has been noted on here before. Others have used some sort of a spacer to extend the shank farther out from the door, giving more clearance for the longer tap handles.

Here's the "tap angler" solution. Probably the easiest way to go.

Cheers!
