Is it possible to remove the rubber from a keg to make a keggle?

I recommend getting another keg if you have one that is rubber dipped or even better just buy a 15.5 gallon pot. The pot will have better heat transfer and be more energy efficient. Not to mention lighter.

I got my kegs, but only one was rubber dipped, so thats gonna be my mash tun, was excited to see it

That is a very good use for a rubber dipped keggle. I've considered looking for one myself, once I get my HLT setup with a herms coil.
