I kegged a batch of beer and force carbonated. When I tapped the keg to poor a glass no beer comes out of tap. I've narrowed it down to a clogged fitting or tube and i'm just wondering if I transfer the beer to another keg, so I can repair the other keg. will this work or will I mess up the beer?
Thanks!

Did you dry hop in the keg? Or did a lot of hop particles get transferred into the keg? If you haven't done so check the dip tube. If that is the culprit you can pull the dip tube and clean it out with the beer still in the keg. Just remember to sanitize it before putting it back in.

I didn't dry hop in the keg but its very possible that some of the hop particles clogged it. I'll try that thanks.

Kind of a stupid question but is the gas on? Are you sure you don't have a leak and lost all the gas or pressure? It could also be the dip tube being plugged as well.

+1 on leaving the beer in the keg.

Before pulling the dip tube, double-check and make sure that your posts are on the correct sides and that your liquid-side coupling is fully seated.

The posts are slightly different and they can get mixed up when cleaning. If they do, the couplings won't fit correctly. The gas side has some little notches where the wrench fits on it.
