hi i have a Thompson control and was wondering what an good tempature is to have it set at?
Currently have it at 37 and its to cold as the keg and line is frozen. Currently thawing keg. latest update i bumped the tempature up to 45 degrees

Question do i need to go higher or is 45 degree ok?

looking for a range.:mug:

I think most of us keep our keezers around 40. If it's freezing at 37, I'd think about

1) Is the probe accurate? (check in ice water)
2) Where is it placed?
3) Do you have a fan in the keezer?

Hi probe has been tested, working accurately.
Probe is on the top of the keezer.

No fan is in keezer.

I may move the probe lower in the keezer.

Thanks.

Root cause solved.

You do have choices.

Put a 12vdc 120mm peecee fan in there and hook it up to a wall wart power pack. Then it won't matter much where the probe is, as long as it's inside the keezer ;)

Cheers!
