hey all, i just got an 8 tap tower from another HBT member, and i'm trying to plan my keezer build. i can only fit 6 in my freezer without a collar, and if i put a collar on i will have a lot of head space between the kegs and the lid. the plan is to use the glass tiles they sell for backsplashes for a top, but i was thinking about putting a "door" in the top of the lid for keeping glasses cold.

has anybody ever done this? any tips or advice before i start? :ban:

I know one guy around here cut his lid in half and put hinges on it so the front of the top would open.

I am currently in the middle of a keezer build that has 2 doors on top 1 refrigeration access for bottles/glasses and 1 freezer access for Ice or possibly frosted glasses for those who prefer them. Some pics at the link below, The actual doors for the top are still in progress. Hope to have them done by the weekend.
