What is the cheapest you can make a keezer? Looking to do one with only 2 taps...what kind of price would I be looking at?

Chest freezer 5cf - $160
taps x 2 - $32
shanks x 2 - $28
tap handles x 2 - $6
tailpieces x 2 - $3
washers x 2 - $0.60
beer nuts x 2 - $8
beer line 20ft - $13
regulator - $55
gas line 8 ft - $4
gas line splitter - $4
gas disconnects x 2 - $12
keg disconnects x 2 - $12
CO2 tank - $85
kegs x 2 - $160
wood (2x4s) - $8

Simple 2 tap "collar keezer" setup. If you can source a used chest freezer (check craigslist) you can shave off a lot of money there.
You can probably find used kegs or CO2 tanks cheaper as well.

That's what I was looking for a good breakdown on the things I need...thanks for the help!

some places like Keg Works, et al sell "kits" with a lot of this stuff packaged together. Might make it easier, though I don't know how the price compares.

Very detailed. Here's a good option for the CO2 tank:

Keep an eye on this site for good deals on used kegs:

Check your local craigslist for chest freezers. You can usually find people selling them for under $100. I went with a 19cf refrigerator and got it for $25. It will hold 4 kegs on tap, easy.
