Hi guys, im working on my new brew setup and i was thinking about an integrated immersion chiller. Goal are to save space and be compact as much as possible. My 68qt kettle is wide (18" wide and 16" tall ).
It will be a e-biab setup. So with a coil permently mounted close to the wall i can still have 15-16" inside the coil for the bag. Do you think it can be as much efficient as a classic immersion chiller?

Setup will have a pump to recirculate.

Thanks!!

If it's the same length and it's circulating it will be very close to the same.

I looked into doing this but with that large a kettle a lot of my coils would not have been submerged in the wort when I do 5 gallon batches. The problem was made worse because I ebiab and the coils would have to be above the element.

Your situation may be different but if you can have the same number of coils submerged it should work.
