Ok so the chest freezer I'm using for my fermentation chamber doesn't have enough width in the bottom to accommodate the diameter of the carboy. So I will have to place it on the compressor hump. This means I will have to raise the lid like a keezer.
My question is that I want to build this as functional as I can. So I want to build the collar to be able to fit both the carboy in a fermentation chamber role, or a 5 gallon keg if I want to use it as a keezer.
What are the dimensions of a 5 gallon keg?
