Alright so I'm embarking on my attempt to clone this great winter beer. There's not many other recipes posted online so I'm just guestimating the amounts. Highland's website gives you this much info about the brew:

Grain - 2-Row Brewers Malt, Pilsen, Vienna, Chocolate, Wheat, Caramel 40, Caramel 60

Hops - Cascade and Mount Hood

ABV - 5.2%

IBU - 28

So here's what I figured for a rough draft of a recipe:
OG: 1.061
Target FG: ~1.018
IBU: 28
Color: 21.7 SRM
Est ABV: 5.6%
3 gallon batch

3 lbs 2 Row (44.4%)
1 lbs Pilsen (14.8%)
1 lbs Vienna (14.8%)
0.5 lbs Crystal 40 (7.4%)
0.5 lbs Crystal 60 (7.4%)
0.5 lbs Wheat (7.4%)
0.25 lbs Chocolate (3.7%)

Mash @ 156 for 45 min, boil for 60 min

0.5 oz Cascade 60 min
0.5 oz Mt. Hood 15 min

Thoughts?

Curious .. did you end up brewing this? The recipe looks spot-on, but am thinking there may need to be some vanilla added?
