Hi from Berlin

Hey everyone!

I'm a Bay Area native that moved to Berlin a few years ago. I've been a fan of beer for a long time and I've decided to start brewing my own for two reasons:
1. to have a new skill/hobby that helps me appreciate the beverage I've been drinking for so long
2. to make some beer styles that aren't as popular or are very expensive in Germany (not that I expect my new homebrewing obsession to be any cheaper )
