hello i'm new posting but long time user of the forum. I First want to say thanks to everyone for all the info posted on here, it has helped me with the beers I have brewed....Thanks members of home brew talk. I bought this capper at my local pawn shop for $10, a steal I think. It has an E stamped on the side and says made in the USA at the bottom, so my guess is an Everedy capper, but the shaft has a faded print ending it what looks like ALLDA. The capper came with this plastic piece on the shaft that i have no idea what it's for. it dont fit on the bell snug and it prevents the shaft from reach the top. my guess is it dont go with it maybe something the old owners used it for. after some research it looks like this type can do corks also. thanks in advance for any info.
